Root's Maple Syrup is owned and operated by Jason and Danielle Root, of Andover, Ohio. We are located in Ashtabula County, the largest and Northeastern most county in Ohio, about 2 miles from the Pennsylvania border. With the help of my father, Jack Root, we have built a 552 square foot sugar house. It is constructed mostly of rough-cut hemlock purchased from a mill in nearby Atlantic, Pennsylvania.  Our help also includes our daughter, Hannah (11), and son Andrew (9).
